Terenzi, Balbino 2022

Terenzi are a relative newcomer on the Tuscan wine scene having only started in 2001. Family-run and with an emphasis on caring deeply for their land and heritage, they now farm 60ha of vines and are among some of Maremma's (southern Tuscany) most exciting producers. Balbino 2022 is made using 100% Vermentino from some of the estate's oldest vines. The grapes are harvested and aged in ceramic to retain the freshness of fruit. Deep straw in colour, the wine has hints of sage, white flowers, blossom and white peach. The palate is clean & elegant, with the marked floral and fruity notes that are typical of good Vermentino. The bright acidity carries the long finish and makes it a great wine to pair with all kinds of seafood or poultry.
